FULL SEND is the last team to book their place at the LAN Finals in São Paulo, Brazil after sweeping Jaguar 2-0 in the Northern Cone qualifier's grand final.

After W7M, Isurus, and Furious all earned their place at the ESL LA League S3 Finals, one more spot remained to complete the four-team LAN final set to take place from March 2-3. There, $10,660 and two spots for the ESL Pro League Season 9 Americas will be up for grabs.

The Northern Cone featured 14 teams battling through two round-robin groups, where FULL SEND and Jaguar placed top two in Group B, before advancing through the single-elimination bracket to meet in the BO3 decider.

The grand final started on FULL SEND's map pick, Train, where the men of Jaguar got off to a smooth 3-0 start, but, swiftly, Mario "⁠malbsMd⁠" Samayoa & co. fired back with five straight. A back and forth battle ensued, but, in the end, the Columbian-Guatemalan side would come out 8-7 at halftime. Juanes "⁠sickLy⁠" Valencia's unit looked to spark something new in the second half, but FULL SEND's defense looked stout, locking down eight out of nine rounds to take the 16-8 map victory.

The series then switched to Mirage. The first half was all malbsMd and his men putting in work on their T side, winning a total of nine rounds before Jaguar ended the half with their sixth. Things didn't look up well for Cristian "⁠nezzi⁠" Ardila and his troops, who could only muster three rounds in the second half of play as Andres "⁠spamzzy⁠" Correa posted a 1.76 rating in the team's 16-9 map victory, thus confirming his squad at the ESL LA League S3 LAN Finals in Brazil.
